Oh man, where do I start...? I guess I should start by telling you guys that, with any luck, and as long as everything arrives on time, a couple of friends of mine will be selling copies of my first comic and some of my prints (and hopefully bookmarks) at the MCM Expo in London next weekend. The Angel Cafe, chapter one 'On A Dark Night' is due to arrive on wednesday (50 copies, guys). My friends will only be taking 25 copies of my comic to the expo, so if you want to reserve any, let me know now! I'll probably sell the other twenty or so online afterwards (I have a few to give to friends).
I'll also be sending my friends off with some prints off mine, such aaaaas,
And perhaps some of these, if you can imagine them without the text,
Secondly! I've just handed in the last of my uni work, however many months worth of portfolios, research, references, inspirations, folders and finals, and a fuckton of lifedrawing, too. It's taken ages, but I got it all done... So, now all I need to do is prepare my work for my degree show, and then that's it. No more work. Nothing. The private view of the degree show is on the 25th of June, and then I graduate on the 2nd of July.
And then... then... well... life.
I need to get a job, and then apply for writing and illustration jobs, so hopefully writing things like magazine articles, and illustrating comic covers/comics in general. I'll keep working on The Angel Cafe, too, the next chapter will be coming soon! And I'll be posting the second page up tomorrow, and every sunday till chapter one is all up. I'll also be re-writing my book and sending the first chapter of that off to publishers pretty soon, I really hope one of them likes me enough to publish it and ask for a series, I am so ready for that, man! On top of that I'll be writing a script for Doctor Who and submitting it to the BBC, and applying for the MA in Screenwriting at the U.E.A for next year.
So yes... still super busy!
Wish me luck?
